Gwinnett County police Monday morning were investigating an overnight shooting at a Duluth apartment that left a man dead.

The victim s girlfriend called 911 about 10:30 p.m. Sunday to report the shooting, which occurred at the Charleston at Sweetwater complex on Old Norcross Road, Gwinnett police Cpl. Illana Spellman said.

Spellman said detectives were working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No arrests have been made.

The victim s name was not immediately released.

just goes to show you how bad it is here, I SLEEP WITH MASE ON MY NIGHTSTAND. Everyday here I feel like something bad is going to happen to me or my baby. And after the shooting,the complex moved in drug dealers behind me, so far they have lived here a week and have had three fights outside.One day I know that a bullet might fly through the walls, I have now use my car title to get a laon to help me move out from this place,I'm completely broke now but its worth my babys saftey.
