When I first moved into this apartment complex 3 years ago, I thought I had found the best complex in Gwinnett. I was sadly mistaken. Over the past year and 1/2 my car has been vandalized, financial information stolen out of my mailbox, and I have seen an increase in gang activity. I was walking by one of the buildings this past weekend and saw where it was tagged outside of someone's bedroom window.

The buildings are decent. The floorplans are ok. The carpet is very cheap, and walls are thin as to hear everyone walking up and down the stairs and the neighbor from the other side's two floors down stereo. The carwash is too small. The gym is ok when the equipment works and kids aren't playing kickball in the racketball court. There is never enough parking. It seems like everyone in the apt complex has 5 cars per unit and they park all of those cars right in front of the building instead of using the overflow lot. The parking lots are also becoming mini jiffy-lubes for all of those cars. Walk around on a saturday afternoon and count how many old trucks, cars, and workvans are being worked on. The apartments are drafty and as a result my utility bills are very high. I travel two weeks out of the month and my bill is still over $115 every month. The front gates never work, in fact once they did work, someone went and cut the gate arms in half and then broke the gates so they could still get in if they fixed the gates. Management hasn't resolved to fix that issue and that occurred in the beginning of December '07; It is now February '08.

The only good thing about this complex is the maintenance. They have come out within hours of making my complaint. Although this is a strongsuit for the apartment complex, it's not enough to make me stay.

I do not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. It is not a safe nor nice place to live.

thank god i never went back to the complex! when we first arrived to look at it i noticed that the gates were broken! and i also noticed at the colonial grand at pleasant hill gates are broken also! if they're not going to use it then whats the point of having it!!! i hope you find a better apt..good luck!
