When I moved in 18 months ago, This was a relatively "nice" place. That feeling was short lived to say the least. I have had a bug and spider issue, despite keeping the place obsessively clean. They seem to emanate from the ONE damned door that is kept under lock and key inside the apartment. They keep the utility closet where the HVAC resides locked. I have no clue why, other that the fact that people store things there, and we can t violate the fire codes, for God s sake, despite the fact that almost every patio includes a HUG freaking grill. No one seems to be able to solve the bug issue, so I have taken matters into my own hands at my own expense. It seems to have worked despite the fact that I ve managed to wipe out some of the local wildlife (RATS, BIG sons-of--------). I laid down a perimeter of some VERY Illegal Agent orange-type stuff that I got from a REAL exterminator buddy of mine..
The water bill is managed by a third party, so that the apartment complex gets quite the cut from everyone here, thereby increasing the profit margin of the management company. I could take one shower a MONTH and the bill would still be $45. I moved here from a 4 bedroom house with several people occupying it, and the water bill was never more that $25 a month. The house I recently sold is only a half-mile away, so you can t really blame that on geography..
The complex is overrun with little -----head kids that have nothing better to do that roam the parking lot, break into cars, and throw bottles. THIS WILL ALSO BE CURED SOON VIA MY OWN HAND. These little tards are the spawn of the same people who drive thru the parking lot at 40-50MPH. Again, I will solve this issue myself.
The apartment complex staff is now comprised of exactly TWO people. One is a very overworked maintenance man. The other is a very bitter manager. Everyone else has jumped ship, and probably for very good reason. I can t wait until my lease is up ..I truly cannot wait .BUT . I will surely have my fun cleaning up the hood before I go.

Give em Hell-my friend...I wouldnt want to live there butt cleaning up the hood...Oh yea...sounds like wonderful fun!! Good Luck! PS...dont move to any of the hellholes on Satellite Blvd...The Falls, The Springs, Saratoga Springs etc.
