Parking: I reviewed the Parking at one star because I had my laptop stolen from my truck. The Laptop was not visible and my doors were not unlocked, they essentially broke one of my windows and searched around my truck for something worth stealing. I am almost positive that the computer was stolen by another resident because I can sometimes see another computer on my locked wifi internet.

Noise: There has never been a noise problem, and if there would be one it would be from my apartment because my wife is an aerobics instructor and she practices her routines, but because of the cement flooring underneath the carpet no one can hear her. Noise has never been a problem. But also please remember I have a top floor apartment.

Grounds: The poor poor poor maintenance man. The management here absolutely sucks and that is where my complaints start. The maintenance man here has some sadistic reason for remaining loyal to this company. They absolutely work him to death, and he is the only respectable person on staff at this apartment complex. You will hear more from me about the management.
But the Ground look good, but they could be better if the management would stop being whores and hire another grounds guy.

Safety: The day I moved in I had to take my wife to the bedroom and distract her from the fact that the cops were outside our door talking to our neighbors. It was ridiculous. Alongside that, I have had the cops knock on my door and leave notices at my door because of the prior attendant. What type of people live here!'
Also the lights in the dog walking area near my apartment are out, so my wife never can walk the dog when she is home late by herself.
Oh and one last thing, it is not abnormal for me to be walking the dog and for a cop looking for "Something" walk by me. I don't know what that means but it is disheartening.

Construction: Don't get me started, our dishwasher is from the 60's, it barely washes our dishes, I was promised that I would have a light in my family room, there is no light. Because the maintenance guy is over run with shoddy fixtures and appliances breaking he can't get to you until you have gotten use to not have a toilet or a garbage disposal. But the maintenance guy they have is phenomenal, he will really help you out, and do his best. On that note, there have been times where I have called up to the office and I have gotten horrible attitudes from those people and then they will say they will put my order in but it will never happen.
Last thing for this section is the damn gate. I know it isn't important, it does not deter criminals, but if i am paying for the gate I want it to work, if it isn't going to work, then give me my money back.

Maintenance: Wonderful

Staff: I do not know where to start. I honestly feel like I did in college when I had so much information for a paper and I didn't know where to start. We could start with the fact that our manager is managing two properties. So that means she has totally enough time for doing her job. Secondly, I have had people lie to me on multiple occasions, from telling me they will report my problem, to telling me that the gate will be fixed "tonight." Thirdly I had a woman last week tell me to go get my own package out of the back of the office and was upset when I didn't know to go. Fourth, I have honestly had them get upset when I walk in and disturb their obvious non-business telephone conversations. Honestly the staff are the main reason why I will not be re-upping my lease this summer.

I totally agree, I have a refrigerator with the manufacturing date of 1988, the front gate has not worked more than a few days at a time since I've been here. There are gunshots and two people were robbed at gunpoint here last week. The cheap owners won't do ANYTHING! There are 218 apartments here, the average rent is over $1000 a month, and they won't get the basic things done to maintain the property. I'm going to post pictures of the torn up security fence where the hoodlums from the apartments next door come and go as they please.

Yes there were two armed robberies over Christmas and the manangement did not even inform the community.Management knows about drug dealing and using in the community also but does nothing about it.Gates are always broke.The only thing Colonial Grand and management care about is rent from tenants and doing landscape to trick people into moving here.Can't wait to leave!
