We all know when we search for apartments, we look at several facets that makes the decision for us. These include price, spaciousness, safety, accessiblity, the year it was built, amenities, and management staff. After researching several apartments in the Duluth, Lawrenceville, Suwanee area, The Estates at Crossroads was the best for its money. It is accessible to Gwinnett Transit which takes you to MARTA train station in Doraville. This is especially great for people who works downtown, but doesn't want the traffic, gas, and mileage or even with people who has no vehicle. The community is gated which deters auto theft and break-ins. The community is quite during its quite hours starting at 10pm - 8am. Cars are driving much slower because there are kids running around. Neighbors are courteous, the staff is especially nice, and maintenace responds as fast as they can. Patience is what you need. This isn't a 5 star hotel where you call for a newspaper and 2 minutes later a bell boy is in front of your door with the paper. This is an apartment where things break and needs fixing. The maintenance can only work one order at a time. Give them a break and be patient. They'll get it fixed no later than 2 days max, unless parts needs to be ordered. About the crime level, I've never experienced it ever since I moved in here, but then again there is crime every where, that doesn't mean you're going to live your life in fear. Besides,the apartment is safe, what ever happens behind closed door is their business. As long as no one is being robbed, raped or killed outside your door is what really matters. No one has been.
