Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2006
When I first moved in Howell Bridge, HB, I loved it. The apartments were very big and I had no problems. Well, I found out soon enough that I had just moved into hell! I couldn't let my kids go outside because the bigger kids would terrize them and the ponds quickly turned into the local garbage dump. If you come out there and look around on a weekend you will litterly find garbage bags in the, so called, ponds. It would take me and my friend playing good cop bad cop, we are not cops it is a figure of speech, to get the office to get anything done for us. My friend is very sick and can't be in the heat for very long. She had to go without air conditioning for about 3 weeks before they finally fixed it. When the maintaince lady, I use that term very losley, came she was very very rude. She stayed on the phone, wouldn't talk to anyone and then just left. She didn't tell her if it was done or not. My friend had to just try it out and hope that nothing blew up. As for the office. Well it is a piece of work. They had the door locked all the time and never answered the phones until people started writing things in here. Then there are the people that bribe the office with food and homemade cookies, you know who you are. These people can pay their rent late and even go a month or two without paying. Then they offer her to move into another one of the complexes that they own for free. My friend has always paid her rent and has the best yard in the place but they call her, High Maintance, because when she sees something that isn't right she complanes. Well, thank God, she is getting out soon too. All of the good people are moving away because the drug dealers and hoodlems are taking over. It just really pisses me off that the people that care about the place are called high maintance but the people that couldn't give a crap, all they have to do is feed the cows up in the office and they can get whatever they want. So, if you don't mind drugs, hoodlems and cooking for the cows up in the office this is the place for you. If you are looking for a nice place to live then just walk on by and keep looking. I was only here for one year and that was enough for me. So, either get cooking or keep walking is all I have left to say and if you decide to get cooking well then, welcome to hell.
