We have been here for one year. The first summer, we lost water every other day the first month and every two weeks after. We recieved notice twice about water cut off. This summer is already becoming the same. They say it was emergency work, but then they know the condition of the pipes. We saw the leak there on Thursday. They knew they would have call workman, yet told residents nothing. When called out on the lie, they suddenly tell my husband that they try to have it cut off in the middle of the day when no one was home. Well, we were home and my husband was in the middle of the shower when the water is cut off. So this was planned and they still let no one know.
Also, maintence will enter an apartment before checking to see if someone is home. They do not properly complete work orders and when called out on it, they say the tenent is lying. They will literally walk out with a job only 3/4 of the way done with the resident present and say the work is done.
You can NEVER get someone in the office on the phone. Even the answering doesn't pick up anymore. They only time I got resolution to an issue was when I contacted the headquarters in Texas. And then I got the proverbial slap on the wrist for it by the resident manager! I won't tolerate such shoddy customer service. They say I'm a valued tenent, but if this is how they treat good tenents, I think they need to take some service classes. They have the nerve to put a note on our door saying they want $50 more per month we stay another year' I don't think so. If I have to go to so much trouble to not have water on a day to day basis and to have such shoddy maintenece service, I not only pay more, but I'm moving.
