This place is all smoke and Mirrors, i will say that it is the David Copperfield of Apartment complex. They will show you the nice setup apartment, with all the nice furniture and show u the club houses, pools and the 2 car washes: BUT!!! its all smoke and mirrors. My neighbor got robbed twice, her -------- got a beat down at the front pool. Both of our cars were damaged in the parking area: my neighbors back glass was broken from the kids playing football in the parking lot. Its very loud there, I think its a prerequisite for you to own a strident stereo for u to live there. Thugs everywhere, just check out the back carwash and look at them washing their cars and playing their earsplitting music. i also think u are suppose to own a pitbull to live here. The cops are there all the time. look at the pics that i took and see what i am talking about, the gates are always broken and you call this living' we were paying over one thousand two hundred dollars for this' please, if you have a family, dont waist ur time: look around before you choose this place: we left early: we stayed there 1 year and we left that place: trust me when i say this: there are cheaper and quieter places out there go to this link to see real pics of the Wylde...http://www.------------------------------

Whatever!!!Everyone is entitled to thier own opinions but dont knock me because I had enough of Idlewylde -------- and I am tired of living next to drug dealers selling drugs 24 hours a day. And you are a lie if you say that management is keeping everything under control if there has not been a swat team of cops to do a drug raid and what about the gates being fixed for 12 hours and the trash compactor being set on fire. I dont give a damn what any one says about this place for its a waste of time and my money.

I loved Idlewylde when I lived there about two years ago. The people were friendly and there were virtually no problems. Of course, wherever you go there are going to be the types that can never be satisfied (mainly the people that post negatively on here) and each complex is going to have their share of drugs or gangs. However, Idlewylde does really great at keeping their problems under control.

I agree this place is not saft. my husband and i live there for 5 months. We decided to break the lease because we could not take seeing the little gang bangers running around the complex and see the police there everday. not only that the couple down stairs from us was always fighting and you could hear other people fight through out the complex. the gates were always broking and from what i hear, it still is. we have a family to think about and it didnt seem saft to live there. i dont reccomend anyone to live here and especially if you have children.

Actually, this is not the largest complex in Atlanta. There are plenty of larger ones in the area. And the crime has gotten exponentially worse in the 3 years I have lived here. Yes, the trash compactor was set on fire. Yes, the gates have been closed a total of 12 hours since November. Yes, there was a murder-suicide here a few months ago that management told no one in the complex about. Yes, there are kids EVERYWHERE that throw rocks at peoples cars and ride their bikes unsupervised until midnight on some nights. Yes, they had to shut down the basketball court because of tenants vandalizing. Yes, there are at least two police dispatches to this place on any given night. Yes, they have gone through four security companies in the past three years and now have NO security. But sure, it is probably just a handful of people that see the negative things.

Actually, it is the largest complex in Metro Atlanta. I understand your thoughts and concerns. It happens everywhere. What it really boils down to is whether you live in a community who has enough money to cover it up. I understand the children are unruly (for the most part - there are parents who pay attention to their children as I do), but it's not uncommon in more fluent communities. I had to deal with the same things when I lived in a community of 300k homes in Suwanee. It's not Idlewylde. It's just effed up people. It doesn't matter how much money you pay to live here, you find it everywhere. How many people who live here have posted reviews and how many units are there?

You're wrong and stupid.

WOW gonna be right no matter what. Let people find out for themselves like you did. I doubt that this is a case where you care so much mankind more so than you are just pissed off about whatever your personal experience may have been. Yea, yea, I know, I'm wrong and stupid too (who could've guessed)

Seriously it was ok when I first moved in but after a while u will see how it changes. Too much riff-raff. I am not disgruntled tenant I promise you. I always pd on time and stayed for the entire lease. The staff is ok but that is not the issue...the people you will be living next to are. The pool scene is the worst to me. I like living around people who take pride in their home and did not see that quality of life here.
