I just read the reviews from this year and I'm very confused. I haven't had any problems with my apartment, the office or 'thugs, SWAT standoffs, etc.' I'm not sure if these things are made up, or if people look at certain people and make snap judgments.

My husband and I moved in with our little girl into a nice two bedroom. After looking at the other apartments in the area, this one offered a great special for the space. We liked another place that was slightly lower in price, but decided that the extras were worth it. Earlier in the month they had a cookout by the pool, though I didn't see the flyer, just happened by it since we went to the pool that day. It was nice to meet the new people in the office since the guy that we worked with is now at another property.

I hope that the rest of our lease is as great as the beginning. We also have a dog and the trail they have to walk on is nice. I like that you don't have to walk your dog just in the parking lot area, having trees and the whole nature scene is nice and makes it homey.

GIVE IT UP. YOU ARE AN IDLEWYLDE EMPLOYEE TRYING TO SUCK YOUR BOSS' A-S-S AND SO DECIDED TO POST THIS LAME ADVERTISEMENT. I MOVED OUT ON THE FIRST BREAKING MY LEASE AFTER 3 MONTHS. I AM PLANNING ON FIGHTING THEIR CHARGES IN COURT.

I'm on year 3 and I still haven't had any problems AT ALL. I live here with my son. Murder suicides happen in houses, too. I'm not saying that I'm pleased of the possibility of that happening (still under investigation), but to itisokayhere...there have got to be more people who like it than don't. I run into tons of people around the complex who are all very nice. Even most of the children I interact with on a regular basis, whether they be my son's friends or encounters at the pool, playground, etc. all seem to be very well mannered and follow their parent's rules. I just don't get why so many people bash this place. Then again, when you enjoy your meal at McDonald's do you call them and thank them or write them an email or letter? People only want to be heard when it's time to complain.

I'm tired of having to post to the same person...I live here and I do not work for the apartments. Again, you may check my other review I wrote for my last place I lived in Buckhead-just because I like it here, doesn't automatically mean I work here. "Idlewyldehell" I live near the water park thingy by the nature trail. Which I do walk on at night and have not had a problem. "Anonymous" I did move here with my husband and infant daughter and I think we will be just fine. When you parent correctly, children tend to stay children for longer. But thank you for your concern. ALSO, It is obvious you didn't go to the pool party I attended a couple of weeks ago because there was no "shootout" and there were no "thugs" there either. It was a nice grillout. :-) To the other "Anonymous," you should have pest control come, I don't remember the day of the week they come, but if you call and leave a message they will come out the same week. AGAIN I'LL SAY, I like my apartment, I miss the guy that leased to me, but the guy I've talked to in the office since has been nice and answered most of my questions. It's an okay place to live.

Cookout by the pool? More like a shootout! Your little girl moved in there with you? Well she is gonna be a big girl VERY soon!! See ya on Jerry Springer! Maybe even Maury! READ THIS ARTICLE Police: 2 found dead in Duluth apartment Murder, suicide suspected By Josh Green Staff Writer DULUTH - George Florez uprooted from New Jersey about a month ago, attracted to Gwinnett County by its rolling landscape and his nearby employment as a power-washer. He came for tranquility. He didn't bargain for a crime scene in his apartment complex. "It's been very quiet. Nothing wild," said Florez, 29. "My wife loves it here. It's beautiful. This is the first time I've heard about something like this." Gwinnett police believe Florez's neighborhood, the sprawling Idlewylde Apartments in Duluth, was the site of a murder/suicide Wednesday morning that left a man and woman dead. Police responded to an apartment in the complex at 10:38 a.m. to find the man and woman dead of apparent gunshot wounds, said Gwinnett County Police Department spokesperson Officer Judson Clark. Idlewylde is located at 1435 Boggs Road. Police have not released the identity of either person as the investigation continues. Clark could not comment on the scenario surrounding the death, the weapon used or the specific apartment where the bodies were found. "The incident is still under investigation," Clark said. Idlewylde management declined comment Wednesday. Gwinnett police went to the apartment complex after someone who worked with the deceased man told police he did not report to work or answer phone calls Wednesday. The caller also reported that the man "and his companion (have) recently been experiencing difficulty in their relationship," Clark said in a release. "(The caller) was deeply concerned." eightythirty: You just said people only call McDonalds to complain... SO WHY ARE YOU DEFENDING IDLEWYLDE! YOU JUST PROVED YOU ARE A LIAR!!!!! LMAO!!!

I live here for now. The neighbor nextdoor got robbed and moved out within a week of being there. Our building was tagged by MS13. The walls are paper thin and ant problems are a normal now. Soo many kids everywhere they are very loud and dont know how to move out of the street for cars. I really dont understand the gate system because the gates are opened during certain times. I can just as easily rob someone during the day with the kind of traffic that goes through. The dog owners here also do not pick up after their damn dogs so grass areas that people walk have to be travled on with finess. The pools are overcrowded all the time. last but not least there are people that come in the appartments at any time at night blasting rap with subwoofers blaring. In the process of writting this a cennapede happened to crawl up my bed i hope this review helps anybody who is thinking of making a lease commitment to this ------ place. It is the step above the ghetto it looks nice but is still ------ place to live.
