I can verify that my neighbor paid too much for water, because I was charged nothing. My meter read the same number for 18 months and I didn?t pay 1 penny for water. I called to have it fixed and they said the meter was fine going to US Energy, but according to US Energy the way the complex did something messes it up. US Energy told me that it was up to Breckinridge to fix it. Obviously, the management refused to do anything because it would cost them big bucks to fix it, and because they were annoyed with the neighbor who was complaining about the water bill.

They also don't take care of the pool and closed it down in the summer because they don't clean it enough (They had a sign saying they would clean it "by tomorrow afternoon", it was closed for over a week!!), the sauna never worked, the vacuum thing at the car wash just steals quarters and doesn't work, I have seen beer bottles on the grounds, the gate is always broken, the playground pitiful and dangerous, they don't clean spraypaint off hidden walls - the ones new tenants would see they will clean, but if you go behind the buildings, aroung the bushes, it is gross. The noise is also bad.
On the plus side, maintenance is very good. They will come out and fix most easy things very quickly, but don't ask them to clean gutters that overflow or are missing. The raquetball is fine and so is the little work out room, the staff changes often, they do throw parties for us with free pizza, professional DJs, drinks, cookies, etc., This complex is right next to some HUGE powerlines - very ugly. The location is very good. Close to everything. When my water bill finally started working because the other neighbor moved, I moved.
