I have lived all over Atlanta and I can honestly attest to the quality of living at this community. Yes, they are a little bit older, but the management still makes a great effort at upkeep. You get what you pay for. There are "nicer" places in the area, but I'd rather have a quiet place to live with management that knows what they are doing. I walk my dog at night and don't get creeped out. People wave at you in passing. I didn't find that sense of community elsewhere. The people in the office ask you how everything is in your apartment and don't just take your rent check without talking to you like I've found in other places I've lived. Management knows you by name. I appreciate things like that.
There are a lot of things to consider when you find a place to live. You cannot judge an entire community just by a few bad eggs that I'm sure end up moving on any way because they cant afford a $10 increase on their rent. If it means keeping me happy, so be it. The cost of living is increasing in general and I'm realistic about that fact. I've referred many of my co-workers and friends here and they all love it. All in all, I plan to stay here for years to come.
