I have lived here for approximately 18 months now. When we forst moved in we loved it, it was quiet, clean, and the neighbors were friendly. That has all changed. Now in this complex there are always miscreants hanging out in the parking lots, there is constant loud music, and on most days i cant walk out to my car without stepping on broken glass from a discarded beer bottle. We have had our apartment broken into once this year and there is evidence of other attempts. Its bad enough here that 2 of the 3 major Pizza companies will not deliver here after dark due to a record of muggings upon their employees. This community is "gated", meaning it had a physical gate preventing cars from getting in assuming they don't just tailgate in (considering the fact that i can drive about 100 feet before i see the gate begin to close) or enter through the exit side. For our first 8 or so months of living here, the gate didn;t even function, they just kept it open. It has gotten bad enough there that my roommate felt it was necessary to buy a gun for our safety.

are you one of those people who complain all the time but never tell the people in the office what you saw or try to identify the guilty parties? Do you think that they can be there all the time? Is there reallyany apt. complex anywhere that does not have problems.
