Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004
The apartments were great for the price at the time that I moved in.
You can hear EVERYTHING from your upstairs neighbors, walking, conversations, when they are ill, when they have "company".
The manager was horrible when I moved in but became better as time went on. Maintenance requests were filled quickly at my second apartment (not at the first).
The location is convenient.
The neighborhood is going down hill though. People block the only driveway with their cars to have conversations and don't move when you pull up. It happens all the time. This is a sign to me that the rental standards have declined because the people that do this are usually of the same race and not many of them lived there when I first moved in about three years ago. Not that I'm predujiced - I have lot's of friends of that race, but none of them think it's acceptable to block a driveway while they make weekend plans.
I was there for almost three years (only because of family emergencies that kept me from looking for a new apartment).
