Two people were found shot to death in a quiet apartment complex on the edge of town Tuesday night, the first homicides of the year for the city of Duluth.

A relative of the person who leased the apartment at Promenade at Berkley Lake discovered the bodies, said Duluth police Maj. Don Woodruff. They had been shot, he said.

They told on the news tonight that drugs were found in the apartment. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be a drug deal gone bad. to many gangs and drug dealers live here. they can change the name of this place all they want. its not a safe place..

Get out my friend, Get OUT! I lived at Northwoods for over 5 years and it got really bad the last year.

Sorry, i meant that i live in Building 28. It was a horrible scary night. A little to close to home. These men were as nice as can be, no one deserves to have that happen to them. Thanks again Duluth PD for all you do !

Yes, 2 people were killed but you know it happens everywhere. Just because it happened in your complex does not mean it is a bad place. In this world things just happen. If you want to live in a place where you are sure nothing will happen, then I invite you to move to the North pole. But you will still probably get mauled or something. In other words, suck it up.
