If you can live with these things then The Promenade is for you!

I should have left when my roommate left but I liked our last apt so I decided to stay and move into one of the "newly renovated" apartments. It's like the old saying goes: you can put as much lipstick on a pig, it'll still be a pig. Well in this case: you can put "new", stainless steel appliances in a dump but it will still be a DUMP! I moved in on day 1 to discover what I thought were a bunch of gnats in my bathroom, turns out they were TERMITES. Pest control will supposedly be here tomorrow for them though I've been here since the 1st. And when they come, hopefully they will have some spray for the ROACHES that are all in my closets and kitchen cabinets. I took dishes from the dishwasher last night and saw two BIG waterbugs at the bottom still half alive. Ewwwww! I have to shake my clothes out in the morn so not to take any in my car! Grossed out by the bugs, I decide to re-wash all the dishes in the sink, what do I notice' MOLD SPORES sprouting on the wall. I checked the rest of the apt and sure enough there was MOLD on the wall near my washer/dryer, on the crown under the floor cabinets, and in the bathroom behind the toilet. Reported these things the day I moved in which was July 1, ask me if anyone has come to fix them!

Other things: NOTHING in the gym seems to ever work, just the two treadmills even though there's a stairmaster, an add'l treadmill and 2 exercise bikes. They want $25 a month to use things that don't work. My neighbors are in a one bedroom, too. Notice I said NEIGHBORS. There are at least 10 people living over there and they are LOUD and obnoxious. The police came by last night for a domestic dispute. Supposedly we have a convenience officer, she is never around or accessible. THIS COMPLEX IS A FACADE. A few nice apts sprinkled here and there, with the rest either under construction or dumps like mine.

I have heard MANY people complain about this place, and I guess I was just lucky to have had a nice apt before this one. But I SO want out, like two weeks ago. I am a clean freak and I feel like I'm living in squalor. I will be at my boyfriend's house until maintenance decides to bring their a$$es over.

Don't move here!!! You don't HARDLY get your $'s worth!
