Reserve at Sugarloaf

Okay place, but not worth the money

I loved the Reserve when my roommate and I first moved in. Sue, Rainey and the rest of the leasing staff were really great and helpful. Then the construction started on the Arena at Gwinnett Center. That was a bit of a pain for 18 months, but the worst was yet to come. When the arena opened, traffic was insane every time there was an event there, and when the Georgia Force played, the local radio stations would broadcast from outside of the arena. Unfortunately, we lived on the side of the complex that you could see through the trees behind the arena, so we got the worst of the noise.
The apartments themselves are pretty nice, only a few examples of shabby workmanship here and there. We had a two bedroom and I will say that the particular floor plan we had had a disadvantage in that the second bedroom shared a wall with the breezeway, so you heard the noise of the steps and hallway conversations.
All in all, it was a nice place to live, with great staff. However, all the things that have come with the opening of the arena make it a less than desireable place to live.
