Marching Steadily Down The Road Of Decline...............

When I first moved into this neighborhood I felt as if my prayers for a excellent rental community had been answered. The community was beautiful and the staff (with the exception of one woman in the rental office)were friendly and accommodating.

My first concern was the excessive amount of moving vans (professional movers) coming to and fro out of the neighborhood. Naturally, I wanted to believe that this was a positive occurrence and that the neighbohood was blossoming accordingly. Then to my dismay, I received a flyer from the management giving incentives to have your friends and family seek occupancy in the neighborhood. This confirmed my suspicions that an excessive amount of people were moving out; not in.

This community appeals to young people/couples that have aspirations to buy a home in the near future. I believe that once interest rates fell and homes were more affordable couples took advantage of the market leaving occupancy levels low for the community. When that happened, The Reserve At Sugarloaf management began to be less stringent about the requirements and caliber of people that they accepted as tenants.

Recently, the police visited our neighborhood for a drug related offense. As a community we were not updated as to whether it was drug use, or distribution that caused this disturbance. We furthermore were not told how management plans to prevent this type of occurrence in the future. It is not my idea of serenity (nor any other law abiding citizen's) to live amongst drug dealers and/or users. I am very concerned about this negligence in particular.

The maintenance staff are very polite and attentive, but the "on-call" repair person responds with an attitude as if you have disturbed his night or weekend with your trivial concerns. Be prepared to be told that you can "hold-out" until Monday, and that someone else will stop by to make repairs.

The entrance gate was also recently broken and left unrepaired for roughly 1-1.5 weeks.
It was left wide open and anyone could enter the neighborhood at will. When I spend this amount of money on a rental unit, my personal safety factors in heavily.

The noise level has raised recently but not to the degree of organized mayhem. What has become utterly unacceptable is the trash wantonly thrown on the grounds and the dog feces left by lazy and inconsiderate pet owners. Just because you allow your dog to relieve himself in the grass, does not mean it will not find it's new found home on an unsuspecting traveler's shoe. Having a dog myself, I know that it is protocol to bring a plastic bag to clean up after my pet's bowel movements. It's disturbing to take my dog out and clean up his droppings, only to step in another dogs waste returning to the apartment!

In addition, one of our car center hoses is broken, and new tenants seem to believe that since they live here, it is appropriate for their entire car club to use our car cleaning center. I did not move here to see a re-enactment of the movie "Fast and Furious".

Due to the aforementioned issues, I cannot advise any "professional" person/persons to seek residency here. This community is steadliy becoming a greater embarrassment and I can no longer entertain a guest/guests from the office at my home. UNACCEPTABLE.

If this person is so professional, you'd think they'd be able to spell the word. Not to mention the many others in this review.

"suspisions"??
I guess you're too "profesional" to use spell-check. This is the most whining complaint I have seen on this board. If you are so "profesional" and refined, why don't you own a house? Then you could join the neighborhood association and tell the other residents what color to paint their front doors. Suck it up! Get a life.

Could you two possibly be "office staff" at this community? I have my "suspicions" about your motives. Furthermore, while induring all of your personal assaults, I noticed that neither of you challenged the accuracy of the allegations. Since you two obviously had nothing more to contribute than personal attacks, I would assume that the "professional" person in this situation is clear. By the way,(office staff) a typo is merely a typo, but it becomes a stumbling block for those mentalities that make it out to be more. Here's the "S" that I failed to give you in the first post; and I corrected the "suspicion" misspelling. Are we now satisfied?
