The Falls is not the place for you unless you enjoy the "thug" life and/or south of the border "life." I lived at the Falls from 1988 thru 2007...thats correct...19 years. For the first 5 to 10 years the place was nice living...steadily declining over time but tolerable. The last 3 to 4 years...well I could see the handwriting on the wall so to speak. Gangsta's loitering about, invasions for neighboring complex's (See Saratoga Springs), South of the border illegals peddling their wares, junkie/broken down automobiles, 8 to 9 illegals per apt, Low-rider Automobiles...OH YES...true low-riders complete with gang tattoos's, 12 batteries in the trunk...yes...the whole enchilada, as it were. Weight room' Forget about it...the "thugs in training" have trashed it. Parking lots never cleaned....sometimes I began to think I was livin on a dirt road.
Loud, rowdy neighbors, security is a joke, the maintenance personel were actually pretty responsible, office staff...dont bother as they are busy doing anything except attending the residents, also The Falls caters to the spanish speaking individuals and openly advertises for same. Never had an issue with roaches until the last year or so. Grounds are unkept.
In conclusion, The Falls apts are full of Section 8 "types," thugs, guns, drugs, drug dealers, rappers, "meriachi" music, low riders etc. Just be aware the if you move in you will experience the "stare-down," parking lot confrontations and OH YES...I almost forgot...on holidays the parents of the up and coming meriachi's allow decorating of the common breezeways. The Falls should seriously consider changing their name to the The Falls Ghetto at Gwinnett.
