I moved here from Florida and lived here for a year...

Pros

-Nice place close to all major shopping malls and school
-Rent is reasonable compared to the other communities and specials are competitive
-Freeway 85 is around 3 miles
-Large Floorplans and has a storage room in front of every apartment to keep your boxes and other stuff
-Ample parking space and secured gated community
-Atleast to my knowledge 5-6 Police officers live in this apartment
-Rooms have plenty of fresh air and light
-Office staff are prompt and give you advance notice on things you should do
-Washer dryer hook ups in all apartments ( 2 bedrooms)
-I am an IT professional and has came to this complex even during midnight and its 100% safe..
-Maintanence requests are taken care promptly if you tell your issues clearly to the staff there in the office

The cons are


Utilities make an extra 150-200 based on weather..You have to pay water/sewage,gas, electric charges on top of your rent
..so negotiate rent accordingly
-sometimes the gate won;t open and it get stuck..usually maintanence or cops attend to this promptly and disable the lock
-if you are not using the washer dryer in home, the laundry room sucks..its not worth putting the dollar bills there especially the one near the leasing office..U can see no heat sign in all dryers except few
-trash and post box are located outside the gate for one portion of the apartment which make it difficult sometimes..

No highspeed internet..ITs a DSL only community.Worst thing is you will know this once you start living here

There is a tunnel being constructed which will resolve lot of traffic and this will be a good choice if you can live with the cons i mentioned..
