Don t let the landscape fool you. Like Hell, it s only made to look attractive from the outside.
Each year management quality has declined steadily, that is if you call falling off a cliff a steady decline. Lately, management doesn t care if you have a complaint with neighbors, even refusing to do anything about tenants reckless driving through the parking lots endangering the children that have only the parking lot to play in. Their only response to complaints is that you have to call the police and file a police report. I don't know if that boils down to lazy or just cowardly management.
Recently I was accused of unsubstantiated lease violations that were completely ridiculous. When confronting management demanding a formal apology, all I received was a shrug of the shoulder and an insincere sorry, happens all the time and its no big deal if it s not you. Well, if you are like me, it IS a BIG deal and NO! it doesn t happen all the time. They refuse to take responsibility for their mistake. I ve been a resident for the past six years and only finances have kept me here for the past six months. When this lease expires I ll borrow from strangers if that s what it takes to get out. I wouldn t even stay if the rent was free.
The only thing they will respond to is maintenance requests; after all, Tree Summit isn t the projects. However, management treat tenants as if they are living in the projects, like we aren t worth the rent we pay. And at their prices as compared to service quality, I m paying WAY too much!!

I disagree with 'Anonymous' poster above. TreeSummit is horrendous. It is true what fedupwithTS said about management's attitude. My wife and I were also accused of a 'lease violation'. Specifically, notice was given when we moved out but we were accused of not providing notice even though we had proof. They were unreasonable, kept our security deposit, plus demanded more $$$ to cover additional funds they felt we owed them. We took them to court and embarassed them in front of the judge and everyone and in the end got EVERYTHING. It was a complete victory for us.
The positive that I'll say is that the apartments themselves are roomy and if you land a good special you can get a pretty good deal on rent. If this is what you are looking for then TS is a good place for you. Just know that it's the worst management of any apartment complex I've ever encountered. Why do you think they discount so steeply?
Wilwat should fire the TreeSummit management and then maybe TS would be a great place because TS would have good potential if it weren't for the incompetent arrogant fools running the place.

I recently moved out of Tree Summit due to relocation. I lived there for 2 years and loved every minute of it. Maybe the problem is not the management but the fact that their residents are so immature that they resort to name calling in reviews.

I agree with FEDUP as well!!!! I will not renew my lease here. I have family moving to Duluth, we will all move to a different complex far, far away from TREESUMMIT!!!! This place is not what it appears to be on the outside.
