I'm planing on moving in this apartment this spring and i was wondering if anyone who lived there or currently live there could tell me if the place is worth the money they ask for.
apart from the horrible management...is there anything else that could make the place seem as a waste of money' things like "cockroaches, ants, LOTS of breaking in" and do the place ever run out of "hot water" and how often does that happen'

The apartments themselves are ok. When we moved in we got in on a pretty good deal. If you can handle the problems with the management and if you get a good deal then I would say go for it. By the way, be careful about discounted rent. When you renew your lease they may increase the price to the full amount.
We didn't have problems with ants or break-ins during our 1 1/2 years there. We had to sue management and we won.

I lived at Tree Summit for 9-1/2 years, moved out of state 2-1/2 years. You get a good deal for the size of the apt. When I lived @ Tree Summit, the property manager was Charlotte - I think she's great. if there was any problems w/ neighbors, etc. she would take care of it. no break-ins or ants in my apt. by the way, maintenance guys are terrific - Jorge and Ramon were the guys there when I lived there. Good Luck to you.

I think the price is pretty fair for discount price only, not market price. I've lived here with my roommate for a year and recently renewed (they did go up some, but not that much so we decided to stay versus look). We did have a problem with ants earlier this year - they just came out of nowhere and seemed to stay for about 2 months. I will say the maintenance did come out a spray every time and they eventually went away. Overall it's a decent place to stay (the back gates do go out and see to stay out for awhile, but the side street doesn't get a lot of traffic that doesn't live there, so it's not a big safety concern for us), but the office staff is a bit rude.
