Hello

We have been thinking of moving to Duluth area(closeness to my work),and TreeSummit was one of the apartments in our checklist.
On visiting the TreeSummit office and looking at the apartments,i am still debating to rent here or not.Few of the things i liked about in the first look were

1.Closeness to Grocery (Publix,Walmart,Kroger etc)and other important places.
2.A Peaceful area
3.Near to the Duluth Hospital
4.Rent is fairly less(below 700) for 1BHK
5.Parking is abundant
6.Apartment(1BHK) size is big enough for 2 people

But again i have some downsides

1.Apartment is fairly old(1995 construction)
2.The Fitness Center is more or less a NO
3.The cable,internet and phone service is currently from BellSouth.Am not sure about the service of Bellsouth and the internet speed
4.The Staff seemed to be unconcerned about any new tenant coming and enquiring.

Would appricate some honest views from anyone who is living or has lived in TreeSummit to help my decision about this complex.

Hi, I moved here in August of 2007 and I love the convenience of having the grocery stores, Wal-Mart, the park and several gyms. While they are older, they are kept up pretty well and very clean-- no trash all over the grounds, nicely trimmed and manicured lawns. I am very picky about my kitchen and bathroom (tub, sink) and mine was in good condition. I had some reservation of moving into a older apartment since the one I moved from was brand new, but I needed a closer apartment at a good rate (below $700) and without all the "drama". They are pretty quiet (at least my building is) True the gym is very outdated, but I joined the gym up the street for $10 (Planet Fitness) and I have the park-- and the complex is so large, you could walk around it for exercise). I have been here and am renewing my lease, so I have made it work- everytime I have a maintanence request, they are on it the next day or same day depending on what time I submit it. I can also pay rent online and I love that since I work 2 jobs and don't really have time to stop by the office.
