I just moved from wesley plantation almost a month ago. The leasing agents are rude and clueless..most importantly after you move you will not get your security deposit back even though you left the place in good condition. As a matter of fact, you will get a letter in the mail saying you owe them money. The letter will say you owe over 200 dollars for water bill (even though you have never been late on your rent or water bill). It will also state damages that are not there and it will charge you $100.00 for late fee (don't know what that is for). The letter will go on to say please do not contact the leasing office as your account has been referred to the corporate office collections department. It will provide you with a specific number to call and the letter will say..if you call within a certain time..discounts are available. I know too well about the water issues that current residents have written about. Overall, don't move there. Not a good place. Very rude..corporate doesn't care and you will get no results. Currently, I am pursuing this matter with an attorney.

Wow! tell me about the water problems!! I've lived there for over 3 years and their explanation for $75 monthly water bills for a 2 BR apt. was this: "We overcharge you so that when you move out, you won't have a balance." Now please tell me what kind of sense this makes? Here's a thought, how about charge me for MY ACTUAL USAGE!! I'll stop now because I can go on forever. Maintenance is terrible, I've been waiting 2 weeks for a phone call regarding the ever present draft coming through ALL of the windows, leaving me with an ASTRONOMICAL electric bill. ARGH!!! But, overall, I love my apt and don't feel like moving.....

So true, I just moved out of Wesley plantation and the guy who wrote this is right. They over charged me for the water bills from day one and when we moved out they didn't give me my deposite and actually charged me for the apartment damage and water bill..what the hack..when we left the apartment it was in perfectly fine condition..this guys are just bullshyting..they dont want to give you your deposite back. forget deposite...they charge you extra for your water bill and send it to their main office's collection agency. If they have been over charging me for the water bill from day one..how come I still owe them a money? they suppose to give me the money back (water deposite) instead they sent me letter to me that I need to pay them...they are rude and ridicules. I am also taking this to my atterney...good luck guys..this is rip off..

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE! My fiance and I just moved out on March 15, 2009. We just received a letter in the mail this past weekend stating we owed $591.75 after the 150 deposit was taken!!!! WTF! They say we owe over $200 in final water and are trying to bill us for ridiculous so called "damages" to the apartment. Also trying to charge us for a final electric bill in which GA Power has already billed us for and what GA Power billed us was much less than Wesley Apts trying to charge...how is that possible! They make me sick to my stomach! I spoke to Michelle (manager) and she's the most incompetent thing I've ever crossed. They charged us cleaning fee for leaving the phone book in the laundry room!!! C'mon seriously! We never received a copy of our lease and I've been up there each day this week and they keep saying "The office where your file is is locked, if you come back tomorrow we'll have it ready" That's been the excuse since we moved in March LAST YEAR!! I told them to have it ready for me TODAY and I will take it and talk to a lawyer. I've also called the water company SEVERAL times and left messages stating that I want copies of every bill from the time I moved in until I moved out and want to see actual consumption because I find it hard to believe that we used more than $40/month for water every month for 12 months. Also beware if you don't give an EXACT 60 day notice they will charge you rent for each day you are off the 60 day! We were a few days off the 60day notice and they charged us $375!! These cons should be stopped this is outrageous!
