People at wesley plantation are robbers. They over charge your water bill and still at the end of your lease instead of giving you the deposite back..they just make up all these non-sense charges and send you to their own collection office.
Redicules service, they from day one kept on over charging me on water..when I asked them they replied 'we are over charching so that at the end of your leasing period you get the money back that you have been over paying'...but instead of giving my deposite and water money back..they made up all these -------- charges and now asking me for more money. DO NOT RENT HERE..these people are croocks..

I agree with you about the nonsense charges about the water bill and how much money you end up owing them when you leave...ridiculous! They tell you that they would credit the money back to you at the end of your lease but then you get a letter from their collections agency telling you that you owe them tons of money. Do not rent there! You will regret it for the rest of your life!

Is there no way to stop these cheats from continuing to cheat people in our great country which is known for a strong legal system. How long can we continue to allow these folks to extort illegal money from residents ?

Thank you for your concerns about the water billing. For a few years, we offered a convenient flat rate billing option, similar to the power companies, where you pay the same rate per month. This, of course, helps with budgeting and our residents found this to be very beneficial. If at any time a resident needed to check their balance against what they paid and what was the actual, our Water Department is/was always available for this calculation. In addition, the Water Department monitored for usage that was higher or lower than the monthly payment and made quarterly adjustments. When a resident would move out a final calculation was completed and more often than not a refund was given. Thus, our residents only paid for the water that they used. Today, however, we are using a 3rd party billing company and every new resident since 2008 pays each month for the previous month's exact water usage. We are sorry you did not find the program beneficial and we will learn from your comments to better communicate the programs we use in the future. Thank you for choosing Wesley Apartment Homes.

I lived there almost five years ago and experienced all the same problems I see on this board now. "MoveToWesley" writes a nice blurb but it's all lies and I'd say for every 1 happy Wesley Plantation tenant, there are 10 that are not happy and yes, I too, believe these owners are legal crooks, lower than low and I am so happy that my experience with them has now become only a bad memory that I rarely review. I had way too much contact with the "corporate" people and after much wasted time and energy STILL ended up paying out the nose for ridiculous, inflated, invented and evil charges. Yes, that's what these people are...pure evil.

I agree with all of you. They say they have changed their system about the waterbill. well, I didn't see anything. First of all it seems like they dont have a meter per apartment...instead they have it per building which has 6-8 units..so if someone else in your building is using the water too much..you endup paying for it. Regardless of waterbill...I still got charged for leaving apartment in bad condition and it was 300 dollars..I cleaned the apartment in and out.. I even vacummed it. No damanges to any walls...I dont have any childrens...it was like a brand new. I called them 1000 times..they dont even talk to you..they straight send you to the collection agency. after 1 year of battle I ended up paying 300 dollars back to them..I still never got an answer from them what exactly I didn't clean or did to the apartment that they charged me this maintainance fee.. and yes, forget about getting your deposite back...instead be ready to get these extra charges on top of that..pure robbery..
