Good place - not THE best, but good

Had a little trouble moving in because we had no one to help us move until evening. We had all but 3 pieces of furniture out and up the stairs when the security officer stopped us. I think it was around 10:00 or 10:30. Someone had complained about us moving in so late and making noise so we had to leave the furniture in the truck overnight, costing me around $100 more. Thank God that person moved out!
It's a good place to live, but management doesn't have many family oriented activities. If they do have an activity, there is not very much money spent on it. (I guess that's understandable if there's no money to spend, but...) They did not seem very concerned about changing anything when I voiced concern about making it more family friendly. They allow alcohol around their pool and usually have it at their parties. They do not seem overly concerned about public displays of affection either, which I have witnessed around the pool.
They do have a fax available to residents, but no computer, library, etc. The playground is very small and consists of one very large gym with two tornado slides and one smaller gym for toddlers. Okay, but it would be nice to have swings.
If you have a maintenance problem, sometimes they are lightening fast to get it fixed and other times you wait...and wait...and wait. I've had problems with my hot water heater and they are quick to get that fixed. But my daughter's bedroom windows have been broken since last summer and have yet to be repaired.
Overall, though, the apartments are clean, quiet and spacious. Not a greaaat place for families, but okay.
