I agree with most of the reviewers in that this place has some major ups and downs.

Pros:
-Reasonable pricing for the area.
-The apartments and grounds look great inside and out.
-Relatively quiet.
-Excellent safety.
-Maintenance responds almost immediately. They even came on the 4th of July to fix our A/C.


Cons:
-Maintenance has got to respond quickly to fix the constant problems. We have had multiple major ant infestations, a leaky ceiling, and in the 6 months we've lived here, the air conditioning/heating pretty much hasn't worked at all. Prepare to be sticky in the summer and shivering in the winter, no matter how many times they come.
-Parking is awful. The later you get in in the evening, the worse it is. Prepare to walk from the opposite end of the complex. People are constantly parking illegaly, and management hasn't done a thing.
-It's a pain that the management office is located at the Archstone Perimeter Center location. At least they still have a rent drop here.
-Management runs hot and cold. It depends on who you speak with, but I've had people be immensely polite and helpful or "condescend" to talk to me. Give me a break.
-The gates break all the time. What's the point'

All in all, it's not the ghetto, but prepare for some minor hassles.
