As a longtime resident here, I feel there are pros and cons here and will try to list both. Overall, I'd echo the sentiments of recent posts - this place isn't what it used to be unfortunately.

Pros
====
- Great location with excellent access to nearby restaurants, shopping, highways, etc. without being in mall traffic
- Large floor plans for the price

Cons
====
- Current management and staff - I've lived here for several years and we have had 2 good property managers and several mediocre ones during my time. Unfortunately the one now seems very inexperienced and has a hard time with the business aspect of her job although she is very nice. The other leasing agents refer all issues to the manager and often can't help with routine requests. Phone calls and emails to the office are often unreturned for days or weeks.
- Maintenance has really taken a hit recently as staff has turned over. Issues take forever to get fixed (especially non-urgent requests) and our grounds / public areas (pool, gym, tennis courts) are not nearly as well taken care of as they used to be.
- Aging property - newest building was in 2001 - and maintenance approach is always "patch it up" / "put a Band-Aid on the problem", not long term fixes
- Safety seems to be much less of a priority than it used to be. Over the last year or so, we had a string of auto break-ins, an incident where fire/emergency services were called and couldn't get through the gates, many lights are out, etc.

In short, this place is certainly not awful (heck, I keep renewing my lease). However, there are many newer properties in the area with better amenities for the same or similar price range. For now, I'm just hoping corporate steps in and things improve around here.

The current manager is useless and if you are waiting for Corporate to step in, don't hold your breath. I lived here since Roberts owned the property and it was top notch. Since Colonial took over it has steadily declined. They care not for the tenants but for the dollar.
