I have been a resident of D.C. since February. I thought these apartments were decent but I was wrong. Our dishwasher overflowed and flooded the entire kithchen and living room carpet. We had to call the maintenence man 5 times before he showed up hours later. He told us the dishwasher needed to be replaced and gave us a water vac to clean up our own carpet. We have been up to the leasing office many times and our dishwasher has yet to be replaced. The staff is nice but unprofessional, and things do not get done unless you raise hell. If you decide to live in these apartments, please make sure you bring a washer and dryer. The laundry room is an absolute joke, the washing machines are almost antiques. We have two neighboring apartments who have crime and saftey issues, which means their drama gets brought into our apartments. The police basically live here and harass innocent residents in an effort to find out who is doing all the drug dealing. The trash gets neglected and is often overflowed to the point of disgust. One good thing I can say is that the bug problem has been minimal. If you really want to live in Sandy Springs and need an affordable place to live, then this could be the place for you. However, you need a ridiculous amount of patience and tolerance.
