here is an updated review for anyone who did not see my revision to the "Not bad, but read on" review. things have improved and i felt it necessary to let you all know this! if you can afford it, you should move here! great place for 1st time renters or someone looking for a place that is more modern (seems like a newer building, even if it isn't!). i feel genuinely safe here and i'm pretty satisfied. check it out!!

the only problem' rent will be unaffordable for the next increase so i cannot stay :( i hope i get a raise at work or something so i can maybe wing it! why do apt. complexes have to keep raising prices, even for good tennants' something i'll never understand lol

Apartments keep raising rents, becuase they believe the inconvienence of your paying more is probably more acceptable to you than the alternative of you moving. It costs a lot of money for most people to move. So they try and get some of that money from you.

sucks don't it??? i also hear they do not meet renters half-way anymore and the suggested raise of price is the ONLY price you can pay. that's too bad that they don't really care about their residents anymore, when it comes to price. i don't see how a single person can live in a 1 bedroom apartment anymore that is both affordable and clean....... it's sad.

I can answer that question about why they always raise prices. I will agree, it does suck, but last time I checked the cost of living anywhere always goes up - doesn't matter if your buying a house or living in an apartment property values always go up and the price does too. That's one of the reasons we all get those "cost of living" raises every year.

me again....after reading numerous other reviews for other places about some issues, i thought i'd update my review once more (3rd or 4th time??) with good and bad things so you can be the judge if this place is good for you. crime- is not something i worry about here. i feel genuinely safe and i am out at late hours sometimes and it is not unsafe. sometimes there are some shady characters around but none that have caused me any harm (or anyone else i know of for that matter). never had a package stolen from my doorstep or anything else i have out there, for that matter. no vandalism to speak of. only pollution is the noise pollution (and air) the leaf blowers incite- what happened to brooms? bugs- i hardly have any bugs and if i do, they are so small. i am on the bottom floor so i can speak for the bug issue - it is NOT a problem. office staff- can be cranky, annoyed or disinterested in you if you are not a person looking to rent there (but rather a tenant already) but i'm not concerned with them being nice or not. i just want a safe place to live while i have to live there. when you get calls of people complaining all day, i'd be pissy too lol although i feel the starbucks coffee maker is a little over the top - come on!! i think i'm gonna steal a cookie next time i come in there... or are we allowed to have those?? noise- i can hear my neighbors pounding up and down but i think they just walk heavy and don't remember they live in a complex w/someone underneath them. the adjacent neighbors are loud sometimes but not to the point where i have to leave or during sleeping hours. parking- isn't the easiest to park close to my apartment but lately, that has changed. i almost always get a spot closer to my place recently and i'm not sure if people have been moving out, or just parking elsewhere. also, no car break ins to report - at least for me. we have not gotten any letters lately either. lots of people park incorrectly - so that is a bad problem. we got a letter about it and i'm not sure how they are going to enforce it - i just call the office and report it (license plate, etc.) and that usually takes care of it (if it is still parked incorrectly). do we still have that courtesy officer? if so, i never saw him once. i wish he'd have a little party to introduce himself so we know who he is on sight, at least. maybe he is no longer here. anyone know?? it was nice to think someone might be around to keep a little watch at night. perhaps a neighborhood watch program?? who knows. overall, the place is charging way too damn much for 1-bedroom apartments right now so that is the only reason i have to leave (or find a roommate). if you can spend some extra $ on a place, choose this one. maintainance is awesome and even come in the middle of the night to fix something. i never have a problem with them responding quickly. overnight you can call a # to deal with emergencies. one of the safer places in dunwoody, for sure. great location to 285 as well. it should DEFINITELY have a better rating # - the 70% it's at now is deceiving. price is probably the only thing driving it down now.

$740??? You definitely got a steal. I live in the 783 sq ft one bedroom and pay $800 since last September 2007. I have now seen 2 notices about crime(break ins) in the complex/area and it makes me slightly nervous. I also noticed the gate has been open a couple times and the arm has been broken as well. The office seems to get this fixed pretty quickly though but it still makes me think that is why the crime incidents have occurred. The notices never went out before the gate got locked open by mistake. Also, there is supposed to be a meet and greet with the courtesy officer on 2/23 from 6pm-7:30pm.
