Unsafe environment - We hide behind our lease for justifications

I moved into these apts on Jan '04 and during my stay I have witnessed with my eyes a drug bust, car break-end, broken car windows, crime scene unit, drug bust dog, etc. After approaching management about the incidents, they made very little provisions to acknowledge or provide a safer environment. Instead they referenced the lease and explained that they are not obligated to do absolutely nothing. And guess what, they are sticking to it. Do not be a victim like me by signing a lease and fearing for your life.
