DeKalb County police were seeking Sunday night the killer of a Dunwoody man who was shot dead in front of his wife in an attempted robbery.

Nicolas Surovec, 22, and his wife were returning home to the Madison Square apartments early Saturday morning when they were confronted by an armed man, said DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish.

No physical description of the assailant was available.

The shooting occurred around 4 a.m. in a parking deck of the complex, located in the 1800 block of Cotillion Drive in Dunwoody.

This may never have happened if the leasing office staff had upped the security two weeks prior, as promised. REST IN PEACE NICOLAS

The security is scandelous. The property developer has chosen to take on liability at the expense of the safety of residents.

Of course, typical ignorant residents would put the blame on the leasing office. Hmmm, let's say you own your home and the same thing happens to your neighbor, who would you blame? The mortgage company, oh I know maybe your local police.

And of course, only an idiot at the leasing office would describe their residents as "typical[ly] ignorant". Maybe someone at the leasing office should pursue an education and get a real job. Oh, what an ignorant concept: an education! Who knows, maybe you??????ll learn the difference between ignorant and innocent. Go figure! The management may not be legally responsible, but it is morally culpable. Oh yea, don??????t worry, it??????s already killing your reputation.

I was thinking of moving in here but this place sounds sketchy and scary.
