i have lived here since september 2007..... this place looks beautiful, well kept, the lawn is always cut, very clean all around the complex, 2 great pools, the courtyards are nice looking as well, hallways kept clean. the gym is really nice as well, tv's all through it, managment is cool. washer and dryer included, maintenance responds pretty quick.. perimeter mall is one exit up, lenox mall is only 10 min away, highway 285 is right infront.....
i guess you could say dont judge a book by its cover !..
wen i first moved my gate clicker to get in the parking lot did NOT work.. there was just a murder late october 2008!.. it was said that the victim was not known by the murderer, which means this was just a random killing. people cars get stolen ALL THE TIME... my sisters boyfriend rims and WHEELS where stolen off his BMW and placed on batteries. and also a friend in the complex rims and wheels wer stolen off his Mercedes and placed on bricks and windows busted out.. i have seen other cars on bricks as well.. vehicles have been stolen out of the parking lot often. jus two days ago an apt was broken into, people wer knocking on doors to see if people wer home. this apt door was KICKED in and they wer robbed. security.... whats security!'!'! they have ONE flashlight cop that works throughout the night. i repeat ONE! he or sometimes she is NOT a cop jus security, what culd he or she really do to help'' not a damn thing!!!! they might as well let them go... its two seperate building with ONE security guard... POINTLESS!! FOOLISH!! if someone is getting robbed in one building by the time the guard can get to the other building the robbers could b long gone!! ---- the highway is right there!! this place is a hot mess and ghetto as hell!! you might as well go move to stone mountain and save the money!!! because you are not getting what u pay for!! i had family who previosly lived here years ago, and these where not issues that had taken place this place jus got ghetto in the recent years.
this could be a beautiful place but some changes NEED to be made, if i WASNT IN SCHOOL I WOULD move WIT THE QUICKNESS!!!! unless u have a gun on u at all times i would not move here!!!! i know there is crime every where you go, but Dunwoody is suppose to be a nice quiet area, but it seem like im livin in EAST ATLANTA on Gresham rd or somethin............. they need to STEP DEY GAME UP!!!!! bc people dont have this ---- to do..... i know i dont!!! THEE END!..

Funny, but true. All the apts in the area are experiencing a high number of robberies and crimes. I plan to leave the area altogether very soon.

Sorry you are having all these problems. I think the property and the management team are quite good. There has been some minor crimes, but nothing out of the ordinary compared to other nice developments. Also, the mgt team has done much to improve security with cameras, police officers. I like the area very much and see great things happening since the DOT and city of dunwoody is planning to update the Georgetown and 285 areas as detailed in the Atlanta Business Chronicle's article on 11/05 titled "Dunwoody taps city planning veteran's moxie." You can contact Michael Tuller, the new Community Development Director for the City of Dunwoody for more exciting news. Hang in there and you will see improvements.
