I live at The Pointe with my wife and my son. It wouldn't matter where I lived as long as I was with them. However, I happen to like The Pointe. I feel comfortable living here. I work late many nights and I don't worry about them here anymore than I would anywhere else. All the apartments come with intrusion alarms which makes me feel even more safe. I have a parking spot in a gated garage that I only pay $15 bucks a month for. I just paid my rent for the month and when I gave the leasing staff a compliment they asked if I could put it writing on this site. I was mortified when I saw what some other residents had written. I'm going to make sure that all my neighbors come to this site to share their good experiences. It's a shame that people looking for a good community would be deterred from moving here based on the information on this site. I would definitely recommend it here. My son goes to a great school (Austin Elementary) and I'm close to everything. The staff here are always friendly to me.
