I was about to apply for an apartment at The Pointe--because I love the neighborhood and the price is VERY affordable. HOWEVER, I have been reading reviews from residents and I am mortified!! Rats, mice, smell of dog poo, poor customer service. I don't know what to think or believe. I have visited the property, but haven't looked at any apartments yet. What is really going on at this place. Can someone give me some good insight please...before I get locked into a lease'

I'm sure this person may have valid issues but they are always situational. I've read reviews about people with insect issues and then found out that they had housekeeping issues. I've had a great stay here at The Pointe and have plenty of neighbors that feel the same way. I can't make up your mind for you but I hope this helps. I've had nothing but great experiences and it's a good place to live. The majority of my neighbors feel the same way. I can't speak for everyone but as far as apartment living goes I like The Pointe.

Thank you for the response. I think I made a mistake by viewing the feedback from all the apartments I'm interested in. I'm just not sure. My major concerns are bugs and safety. Don't want the first, but definitely need the latter. I'll give The Pointe some consideration....

I am also wondering about The Pointe. I am concerned about mice running through the walls. Is this person correct? If I lived somewhere that had mice I would freak out. This place does fit a lot of my needs and the location is perfect for me. I would be parking in the garage, so not much concerned about break ins of cars. Has anyone else experienced mice at all? Also, are the palmetto bugs bad there (the flying roach bugs)? Thanks so much for your help.
