This place is the biggest joke. I only lived here for 1.5 months. When I first started looking here, the leasing staff wouldn't let me view the inside of the apartment that I wanted to lease b/c it was "under renovation construction." The DAY BEFORE I was supposed to move in, the leasing agent called me to inform me that - "whoops" - something had gotten mixed up and NOTHING had been updated in the apartment. They offered me a concession on my rent OR a larger apt. for the same price. I wanted to view the "larger apartment" that they had offered, but when I arrived, the key was "strangely" missing - so the larger apt. wasn't an option anymore... While still ended up moving in to the original apartment (with no updates, as aforementioned), I regretted it from the very beginning. (I will learn to trust my instincts in the future). I moved in while the police were over-seeing an eviction of neighbors at the end of the building. Also, the smell of pot wafted about the area. Every night when I was walking up the stairs to my apartment, I would have to jump around and dodge the ROACHES! ICK! It was SO GROSS!! The leasing office was so unorganized, they didn't know I was living there, so they didn't bill me for water the first half of my time there. In the end, someone broke into my apartment and robbed me!! The more I think about it, the more I am convinced it was an inside job. I am so serious - this place is SO BAD! After the police had left, I called the on-call maintenance staff to inform them of the break-in. The maintenance guy who showed up was DRUNK! We could smell the alcohol on his breath and he kept rambling on and repeating himself like a fool. THEN - when I moved out, I had left some items in the dishwasher, so my friend went to pick everything up for me. When he got there, the leasing agents couldn't find the right key to open the apt. (they should have just busted the door open anyway..the door was already broken from the break in... it was a joke to be locked!!) They basically had to sort through A BAG OF KEYS to find the right key! UNBELIEVEABLE. I have to say I am impressed that a community THIS poorly run is still able to keep people around - oh well, the people they keep around are just as creepy - so, unless you consider yourself a creepy person - you wouldn't fit in. OH and one more thing - the work-out facilities are for show only - all of the machines are broken (trust me, go try a treadmill - you won't run very far). And the pool is DISGUSTING. It is cloudy and has a nasty film on the top layer of the water. Stray hairs are rampant. Unless you want to wear other people's hair, then I would suggest staying away from the pool - or should I say, cesspool' Good luck.

And now we have roaches? This is the third consecutive week that an exterminator has had to come in our apartment. Now this week we have to empty out all our cabinets or else be fined $50? ...( I wonder if that is lawful if it is not mentioned in the lease? Probably not)

If only I would have known about the stuff that goes on here, then I surely would have paid more for smaller apt at Post. I've only been here since the end of July and this place is bad. I have been calling them about my hot water heater and they are bullshitting around. It runs brown every now and again and I keep have to let it run for several minutes to get it cleared up. A friend of mine loved it when Julian Le Craw ran it or what ever company that started with the upgrades. The staff is friendly but done. They tried to charge me a late fee on my rent when there system clearly said 3rd when it was done, but since they are now close on Sundays and that Monday was a holiday. They didn't process it until the 6th. They can't read. I guess you get what you pay for, I thought she was cutting me a deal but I definately will not be renewing my lease until the management here changes.
