i moved here because i had to find a place quickly. The place was even worse than can be imagined. in the year i've lived here people have been shot. during new years, people shot off guns. The apartment when we moved in hadn't even been cleaned, it was filthy, and the dishwasher is so disgusting we don't even open it. Wasps come in through the cracks in the door. When we finally decided to move after giving 90 days notice, we were suddenly told we owed 60 more dollars because we stayed until the end of the month (mind you, we were told we had to stay until the end of the month. Furthermore, nothing was explained stated when we originally gave notice, probably because they knew we would have left when our lease originally stated so they wouldn't be able to con us out of money). I'm positive they look at people they think can afford it, and swindle people out of money- i'm sure most people are like myself and would pay just to avoid the hassle. now the place is even worse- it's more expensive and they've gotten rid of credit checks and deposits, so they're going to have to get money somehow (by conning hard working people who pay their bills on time ever month)

i should also note the $60 was in addition to us having paid the full month. our lease said we ended during the month, we were told we couldn't end a lease during the month so had to give in end date on the last day of the month, then were told because we stayed till the end of the month, we had to be an additional $60. i feel bad for anyone who lives here, especially those who have children
