I agree that there are no amenities however, if you have school aged children, I feel that the fact that the elementary is right next door and the high/middle school is within walking distance more than makes up for it. There is also a daycare up the street. This makes things very convenient if you're a single parent. Plus the property is located within the Columbia school district which is wonderful.
The playground is a decent size however it could use more equipment for the kids to play on. The location is nice because it's quiet and it's not 10 miles away from gas stations or grocery stores. My only complaint with the location is that there is really no place for the kids to (safely) ride their bikes as the road is pretty busy.
The apartments are nice. The spare rooms and a bathroom are separated from the master bedroom by the kitchen and the living room which is nice if you have kids. There's additional storage on the balcony which is nice. The walls separating the apartments are thin but you can't have everything. Not for $750 a month.
The office business hours are a little inconvenient (1:30 pm to 5:30 pm) but if you aren't having a problem with your neighbors and aren't in the habit of breaking stuff then those four hours are sufficient. Whenever I have had a problem, Maintenance has always been very prompt and efficient.
Overall, my stay at Blue Ridge has been great. The price is reasonable and the location is fantastic.
