Property Changed Management: Now Audubon Town & Country

I used to live on Summerwood Drive for 6 years (adjacent to the complex), and the previous poster was TOTALLY correct about "Fairburn Town & Country" apartments. I moved to Union City 2 years ago, and just happened to drive through there 2 weeks ago. Another Management company has purchased the property and since renamed it to Audubon Town & Country. It is totally different from the way it was when I lived down the street. They used to have Fairburn Police over there all hours of the day & night, little bad azz kids hanging out in the streets, run down and abandoned apartments, and drug dealing thugs galore! Not anymore! It looks like a totally different complex. The new company has begun gutting many of the old apartments. The new units have all new everything; hardwood vinyl flooring, new cabinetry with built-in microwaves, new stoves and refrigerators, and new carpet. When I drove through, they had crews all over the complex renovating the units. Being a natural skeptic...I thought...maybe it's just all "looks". So I've driven by there numerous times since my initial visit, different times of night. I can honestly say that I was very pleased with what I saw. If you choose the new units, the rent is $725, if you want to keep the older units that don't have as many upgrades, but the rent is $650. If you can block out the horn from the train, I say, "Go for it!" I've been apartment hunting for the past 9 months because my current lease at Hidden Lake Apartments in Union City expires in June. For the money and the upgrades, peace of mind with having a virtually "new" apartment, it's the best option for me & my 23 month old son. Being a single parent on a budget, I had to look for places to live that I didn't have to worry about the previous tenants nasty habits and uncleanliness...like roaches and nasty carpet, especially since my son is at that age where he picks up everything off the floor and tries to eat it. I have had my share of bad experiences with complexes since I relocated to GA. So I think it's best to check out any potential place you're thinking about moving to for yourself.

If you go by there you'll probably talk with Vanessa. She's the lady I met with the day I dropped by. She was Awesome! And NO...I AM NOT A MEMBER OF MANAGEMENT! Wish I was, cause I could sure use an EXTRA CHECK! LOL!
