We have lived here for almost 2 years and we WILL NOT be renewing our lease. When we first moved here it was because of the great value. The apartment is only 576 sq. feet so we were willing to pay what we paid at the time. But after our first year, they raised our rent $130 and when we found this out, we didn't have time to look for a new place so we reluctantly signed another year lease. After that everything went down hill. Aside from the place being about the size of a shoe box, all of the fixtures, wallpaper, flooring and cabinetry are straight out of the 80's. We don't have a dishwasher and the air conditioner is the kind that you find in hotels so there is no thermostat. It's almost impossible to keep the temperature regulated even though we've had it "fixed" twice. We don't have a rodent problem but we have neighbors who do. We just have every type of bug you can think of....roaches, ants, spiders, mosquitoes and some species of bug that I never knew existed until we moved here. It's gross! The place is just run down, old and cheaply put together. The owner is too busy trying to find ways to take money from his tenants than actually dish a little out to make some much needed improvements. This place may have the cheapest rent but it also has the cheapest owner!!! Don't waste your time with this place, for less than 100 bucks more a month , you can get something 10 times nicer and bigger in Fayette county. The only redeeming things about this place is that it's pretty quiet (that may have something to do with the fact that there are less people to make noise because they're all trying to move out)and the lady in the office is really nice and helpful. But that isn't enough to make up for all the problems with this over-priced place!!!

That is so true. I live here too and I'm ready to get out. The apartments across the street are way nicer and much cheaper for a 2 bedroom. The deal about the bugs....that one bug you said you've never seen before...well, I took a picture of it and looked online, it's called a house centipede and they live in cool, damp places. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

I thought it just me! When I saw the size of the apartment and what they were asking in rent, I thought I was just not up to speed on market pricing. I went to see the place in person and I have to agree with you about the dated design/decor as well as the fact that they are asking WAAAYY too much these tiny spaces.
