It's a decent place to live but not near worth the price. This was/is my first apartment, HUGE mistake. I'm currently still stuck in the lease, even after losing my job, and being a resident for 6 months the management would do nothing to work with me working something out, a few of my friend have run into this same problem at other apartments, and while their deals aren't always awesome, ALL the other complexes, have worked with them. I have been looking for a new apartment for the day our lease is up, even been to a couple, and the prices are hundreds less A MONTH, the deposit, at least for me will be up to 400 dollars cheaper. I can't wait, if you have a ton of money to drop on an apartmant and I will say it's a nice place, but you might as well go to Lanier Club, they have two pools and lake front property. . .if you're just looking at renting as something temporary and to get by please do what I didn't and shop around!

I agree with you. It is pretty expensive. I am sorry that you are going through this problem. I had a similar issue with getting out of my lease. Have you contacted corporate yet?

Have you asked the office about the new no risk lease? Maybe they can help.

Hi, This is in response to several 'negative' comments about the staff. I read the posts lately and seems to me that those who get disgruntled and bash the staff, are really not considering the fact of the matter that they have failed to read the lease they signed and comply therewith. I have read my lease - EVERY YEAR - and I know what I have to do if I break it. I understand that 'other' places may work with someone in breaking a rental agreement, but I didn't sign a lease with that 'other' place. I signed one with Carrington Park. I signed first back in 2001,... I am STILL living here (hate owning house). If I have a problem with anything, I know that all I need to do is call. Everyone has always been very accommodating, no matter what the case was. Rent matters, mail matters, gate matters, maintenance, etc. Back a few years ago, our hot water heater conked out and we were allowed, along with our pets, to stay in one of the furnished corporate apartments that were available until a new one came in and replaced the old one. I know that situations arise, and things can go wrong, but lashing out at those who are only doing their job isn't very nice. If someone a problem with the building, grounds, general noise, parking, safety, sure ok, I am sure that by and by most all areas can be approved upon, but don't just say the staff team here doesn't care about their renters and bash the place on that alone. It seems to me you have a case of buyers remorse. Sorry, but you did sign the lease just as I did. I'm sorry for your situation, and perhaps higher-ups can assist you, as I'm sure the staff in the office may not have the power to grant your release. Good luck.
