Carrington was once a nice upscale apt community, but is that is no longer the case.
There is one pool to accommodate over 300 units. My children are not able to swim due to people taking over the pool to play volleyball in the pool. It appears that they are letting anyone move in and its begining to look like a low income apartment complex and a teenage party spot. The saying is true about "you cannot judge a book by its cover". Carrington looks good on the outside, but once you have entered the property you will read a different & less appealing story. The bottom line is, if you are looking for something nice, relaxing, a bit upscale & classy, Carrington Park on Lanier is not the place for you.

I have to disagree with you on your opinion. First fact is that it is against the law to discriminate! Especially upon AGE! The Fair Housing Act is a federal law that prohibits discrimination in the sale or rental, or in the terms, conditions, or privileges of a dwelling because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status (i.e., families with children under the age of 18), or handicap. It is illegal for a landlord to refuse to rent an apartment, condominium, or home to somebody because that person will have children living with them or due to their race. It is also illegal for a landlord to evict a tenant due to the fact that the tenant has children. I have been living here for over 5 years. People come, people go, pool is fun, pool is empty at times. People hang out in the parking lot and chat right outside your windows. They walk their pets, and generally enjoy their right to the property as much as you. But you know what?!? This is a APARTMENT complex. You will have more than yourself at the pool. You will have people of different backgrounds, and as you say.. "don't judge a book by its cover" those 'low income' people probably make more than you. Unless you know they got in under false pretenses, don't judge them by their cover either.
