Completely had it with LLC

It is unfortunate really, because the area is beautiful. But I have yet had the opportunity to enjoy it because of all the many, many problems we??ve encountered since we arrived 6 months ago.
For starters, it is certainly not a luxury apartment complex. At least not on Kensington Alley, where kids ride motorcyles up and down the streets at all hours of the night, and throw loud parties with rowdy underage kids who trash the parking lot and the landscaping. Or the other tenants who operate an after-hours auto body shop out of their garage, and keep several oil-leaking junk mobiles out in parking lot.
But as unpleasant as it is to listen to machinery drilling and motorcycles racing at 2 am on any given week day, I would have to say that the grossly incompetent leasing staff is the biggest problem with LLC. I don't even know where to start. Nice girls, but none of them, and I mean not a single one of them, seems to have the first clue of what they are doing.
They misquoted fees and deposits, told us our apartment was a water-view when it wasn't, accused us of not paying our pet deposit fees when we had, lost employment verification and said we couldn't move in without it (as we sat in the parking lot in over 100 degree heat, after driving over 14 hours). They failed to provide accurate information to Rent.com regarding $100 reward. And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, after we got up the nerve to complain about our loud neighbors, they gave US the violation notice!! Its just too ridiculous--too much to list here. Its basically constructive eviction--like they want us leave.
As for maintenance, well I can tell you that when we first moved in the lock on our door broke. It took over a week for them to come and replace it. I slept with a baseball bat next to me that week. And the outside walkways are covered with bugs and spiders/webs. I guess garbage in the parking lot is cleaned up eventually, or it is carried away by the dozen or so feral cats that live around the complex.
So be warned, looks were certainly deceiving in our case. So if you decide to take your chances, be prepared to do everyone??s jobs for them. Keep records of everything, and get first and last names every time you talk to anyone in the leasing office.
