not as bad as people make it out to be

I lived there for more than two years. I read a lot of bad reviews before moving there, but my wife and I decided to take a chance anyhow. The apartments are huge for their price and I had a lake front view (though technically it was not one of their lake front view apartments).
What you can expect. A lot of noise from neighbors. There is a large mix of dwellers there including the young crowd, so be prepared for some noise at night on the weekends. If you get home late at night, you might not have a parking spot close to you. There is parking, but it may not be right in front of your building. Get over it. The level of adequacy by the apartment staff. They were all nice to me, but I got the feeling from more than one of them that they were not the most knowledgeable people in the world. Gates that work half the time. They need to REALLY work on that one. Spacious apartments. Move into Atlanta and try to find apartments of that size for that price. Keep up with what you owe and what you paid. They are quick to call you when you short pay them five dollars (and threaten to charge you a fifty dollar late fee if you don't pay that five dollars before the end of the day), but I had to call them two weeks later when I discovered I overpaid them on the rent. I am not sure if they would have ever said anything to me. That is unethical if you ask me.
As for people complaining about the fees at the end' Here are a few tips. When there is something wrong in the place, call the office to have them repair it. This is a service they provide. In my time there, they replaced the refrigerator and the flooring in the laundry room among other things. I was never charged for any of this. Follow their closing checklist to a tee. They provide it to you for a reason. Do the list (including renting a carpet cleaner) and you are less likely to have problems. Get to know the office staff and be friendly with them. They wield more power than we give them credit. Most of the office staff knew my wife and I by first name. That was no accident. As the saying goes, you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. In the end, I had no deductions from the walk through, and I received a check from the complex. It can happen!
Overall, I recommend this place. If you treat the people and the complex with respect, you will be okay. If you tear things and don't report them, what can you expect'

I don't work for the place. I lived in 1007. I moved out this October. That is a fact, unlike the angry person is making a guess that I am part of the staff. I am a real person who was a tenant there.
What's your next comeback?
