Mo money, mo problems

Folks, I am not the kind of person who complains often. It really takes a lot for me to take the time to write something negative about someone or something. However, I feel duty bound to write an honest review of Towne Creek.
The staff at Towne Creek are very nice and very helpful when you are considering moving in there. Once you decide to move in, that pretty much goes out the window. My biggest problem is pest control. My building has a serious ant problem and I have seen little effort from management to address the problem. They will have someone come and spray the apartment, but in this case that's like putting a band-aid on a broken arm. The building needs a very deep, very intense pest control treatment. Management seems either unwilling or unable to take care of the problem. Any management staff who doesn't mind their tenants living with ants is a pretty poor one. As a result I now have to spend my own money on bombs and ant/roach spray to keep my apartment pest-free.
Secondly, there is a very small laundry room (only one) on the property. The dryers do not work and never have since I've lived there. You would think that it would be pretty easy for them to have someone come out and fix or replace the dryers, but again they seem unwilling or unable to do so.
I would not recommend this complex to ANYONE. It has the potential to be a great place to live but there needs to be a greater effort from management in order for that to happen.
By the way, I pay well over $600 for a small one bedroom that was advertised for about $560.
Now, a few positive things about Towne Creek. First, they take noise pretty seriously. It's a very quiet complex and I like that. Second, they have a couple of cops that roam the grounds and are on call to handle any problems. That's also a good thing. There are plenty of dumpsters so throwing the trash out is convenient. A lot of apartment communities only have one trash dump, usually at the front of the complex.
