Not only do I not recommend these apartments, I have already told other people not to consider it... even though I could get $200 off rent for bringing in someone new. When I first moved in, I loved the place.. was very impressed. Then I started having some problems and dealing with people in the office, one in particular, was just a very frustrating process. Long story short, I always pay on time and when resigning my lease, my rent was going up plus my discount was being taken away (even though rent had lowered since I have moved in). My neighbor downstairs has the exact same apartment and was paying almost $100 less. This was a major battle that the office assistant was supposedly discussing this with management. I finally went to the manager myself, only to find that the office assistant had not told all the facts. She was very aggressive and had lied to me about rental prices. I caught her in a lie by calling in as a 'potential resident' asking about prices. They also lied to my neighbor telling her they could not show her the apartment because someone was still living there. I have been here 8 months, and nobody was in that apt for months. Just lies. why'' Also, bugs .. YES.. they are bad. Ants all over. They will finally do something only if you are very persistent. You can't trust them to do something w/o checking on it yourself. The gates are ALWAYS open. I think 3 of the 8 months they have been closed, and that was only part time. The exit gate is always open. The biggest problem is that a man LIVING in these apartments has been in trouble more than once for asking single women for money. We had to call the cops to find out if he really lived here.. we did not feel safe having this man asking if the "man of the house" was there.. then asking for cash. They allow this ! There are many other much nicer apts around. I will be moving as soon as my lease is up. Be smart and DO NOT LIVE HERE!
