DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS APARTMENT. I had to break the lease. I had to give 2 months notice, then they asked for additional 1 month for breaking the lease AND lose the deposit. When I turned in the key, I was told "they will send you a bill". I had always paid my rent on time, and never caused any type of trouble. I didn't receive the bill until October, a month after I moved out. When I called to make arrangements for payments, which was towards the end of October, I was told that I had probably been turned over to collections. No warning, no 30 days, no nothing. But, they were not sure, and needed to go over the books. How can you not be sure whether or not you turned someone's account over to collections' When I tried to get hold of upper management, everyone was at a conference. Only 2 people in that entire United Dominion company could help me, and BOTH were at a conference. The apartments have large flying cockroaches. They do tell you this when you move in, but you don't realize they are serious until you see them walking around your apartment. 1-2 inches in length. Or when the ants start invading your house. I was a single person, rarely cooked, so I didn't have a lot of garbage. The pests were just in the apartment. They are good about trying to spray for bugs, and they do take care of the apartments. But the management is HORRIBLE. Also be careful. I paid the bills for the previous tenant without even knowing it. They keep the gas bills in there name, even when they "switch" it over for you. So you then pay bills based on the apartment number. If they happen to NOT be for the time period you live there, and you don't look closely at the bill, you will pay bills that don't belong to you.
The "security" gate stayed open for a month, so it really wasn't much security, and the gym equipment was broken most of the time.
Do yourself a favor. There are homes in griffin that will cost you about the same to rent, or go farther up 19/41 and there are other apartments. Don't go there.
