Walden Landing

The apartments seem nice at first and the prices are very appealing. I have lived here around 4 months and I already anticipate the day I move out. As stated in a previous review, there is a huge ant problem. Telling the office staff solves nothing. Their response is "This is Georgia, what do you expect" Well I expect not to have ant trails running everywhere outside the building. They come inside too. As---- for the exterminator to come by hasnt helped so far. I spent 2-3 weeks with little to no hot water, while the incompetent maintenance staff "experimented" with different problems. I'm sorry but if you cant fix it after the 2nd or 3rd time, just replace the darn thing. I actually had to get the regional manager involved to get anything done. No one in the office seemed to really care until I did that, then it was magically fixed and I had a gift card on my door for the "inconvenience". I didnt want food, i wanted f*@---- hot water. I am now getting harrassing letters from the office staff warning that they will charge me $10 for every cigarette butt thrown from my balcony. Sorry, not me. If there are cigarette butts in the grass you better have me on video tape doing it before you charge me $10 a pop. And no it couldnt be any of the herds of kids and teenagers roaming the grounds until midnight being loud and standing in the middle of the street. Just seemed such a nice place before I moved in. Just very poor service after the sale. Customer retention is the least of their conscerns. And yes the carpet is horrible and cheap. Your money is better spent elsewhere, trust me.
