Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I moved to this complex after coming to Georgia from out of state. I had family in the area but did not know much about the area. All I wanted was an affordable apartment in Hampton, GA and I picked Walden Landing based on the location and the staff.
When I moved in the only problems I had were with the cleanliness of the apartment and a problem with ants. Growing up military and living in apartments while waiting for base housing or (in later years) to close on a house I'd seen worst. I was able to clean, spray, and get settled. Over my time there I didn't have any problems with anything other than ants but there seem to be ant hills all over this part of Georgia.
The problem I did have with the complex were the people hanging out at all hours of the night and nearly all day. During the day and evening it seemed to be children and teens. During the night it was adults hanging out on the stairs, smoking on balconies, or just standing in the street talking to people who pulled up in cars. A lot of noise, a lot of activity, loud arguments, you name it.
I moved as soon as I could to a quieter neighborhood and was happy with my choice. Even though I never met anyone at Walden Landing who was rude or anything other than polite to me as a neighbor my family and I just needed to live in a quieter, less active, community.
