ECI Management advertises the Columns as "luxury" apartment homes. I guess this would be true if your last residence was a trailer park or low income housing project!

Here's a summary of "luxury" living at the Columns at Hiram:

1. Dog crap & cigarette butts everywhere; including the grassy & flowered areas.
2. Patios that look worse than a junk yard!
3. Stray cats that management says "keeps critters away".
4. Broken cars that take up valuable parking spaces.
5. Neighbors that have domestic disputes outside so that everyone can hear the sordid details of their dysfunctional lives.
6. An endless barrage of noisy pickup trucks & souped-up cars.
7. Tenants who blast their loud music from their cars as they drive around (at all hours, both day & night).
8. Quality of life issues being ignored by management.
9. Poor construction - cold in the winter and TOO HOT in the summer.
10. Oh, yeah, and the LOUD & constant noise of the train!!!!

My recommendation...don't move here. It's overpriced for this area of Georgia and overrated.

I agree with you!!! There is an infestation of Cockroaches in our building and they told us it was our fault when they were here when we got here!!!! I hate this place they don't care about anything except making money! We asked them to move our apartments and they said no that would just be moving the problem when there a many other ppl that live here that have the same damn issue! I absolutly hate this place!!! I want to put a big sign out in front of the office that says Go Away they have bugs and cats and police are in here every other day for a domestic dispute!!!!!
