Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
I moved to Tara Courts in August 2001. Right after i got married. I was looking in the FOR RENT BOOK and saw that they where running a spec. NO Application Fee. So i went by there on a Sunday. I spoke with a Leasing Agent by the name of Courtney. She was very nice, professional and polite. She showed me a nice and clean 2 bedroom that had new carpet and told me that it was avail. Since i loved it and the price was right. I went ahead filled out the application. Put a deposit down. But when i came back on my move in day. I was given keys to another unit to show to my husband. I didn't know what the H$ll was going on so i asked for Courtney and she was not there. So i went on to tell the girl in the office that i had put a deposit on another apt. She let me know that the apartment was rented to someone else and they had already moved in and also that i could take another apt. if i did not want to stay there the dep. would not be refunded. So i took the keys went to look at the other unit. And when i got there the vinyl guy and carpet cleaning people where there doing the vinyl in the foyer and putting water on the carpet NOT SOAP.... So i didnt have any where else to go so i had no choice but to take the apartment. Since they didn't have anything else avail. And the manager was on vacation. I went ahead and signed the lease for 12 mons. Within those 12mons. I found a lizard in my 1 years bedroom and my husbands car was stolen and the maintenance tech wasted bleach on my $75.00 rug in the kitchen. After all of that i broke my lease and moved to N. Atlanta.
RENTER BEWARE------DO NOT LEASE AT TARA COURTs------- IT IS BEYOND GHETTO
